This production was a constantly evolving reference heavy projected world, where Lucy worked hard to blend the performers into the evocative worlds of the set and projection environments. All the time pulling upon references of the original Cocteau film and his distinct use of light and shade and shadow in his work.
so Jones and her designers Lizzie Clachan (sets) and Lucy Carter (lighting) have found poetic, often blindingly beautiful theatrical equivalents
