This Abstract hour long work was drawn from Wayne McGregor’s own personal and professional archive of his life. The work is a result of the creative teams collaborative response to this archive. An algorithm was also created from McGrgeor’s genetic code and Lucy mined the research and the algorithm to develop the visceral and kinetic Lighting environments alongside the set designs to integrate the two mediums fully into the visual picture. Physical set design ( and projections ) and lighting work as one to provide the atmospheres for McGregor’s vision and choreography to exist inside.
